You are viewing a great 1978 Westfalia Campmobile a beautiful survivor that looks great and drives great,this Westfalia had underwent a full restoration 10 yrs ago,painted back in the original sage green & garage kept ever since,The body is in excellent shape there are no dent's or scratches,the underside and floors are in showroom condition. In 1978 the 2.0L now fetured hydraulic valve lifters,eliminating the need to periodically adjust the valve clearances as on earlier models.This was also the 1st year for electronic ignition,eliminating maintenance-requiring contact-breaker points,this engine produced much more torque. I've owned it for three years,very difficult to let her go.I would take her anywhere at any time,She is mechanically sound through and through. The poptop (((canvas))) is the only thing on this van that shows wear in some places,but still serves it's purpose just fine. Everything works,has 4 new Mitchelin tires and a Pioneer cd stereo.
