1982 Porsche 928 1982 Porsche 928 Automatic. Finished in Black over Black Leather. You are looking at a very well preserved and maintained 928 . It is all original except for the radio and steering wheel (Momo), and is fully, fully loaded with all options. The 928 has been overlooked by collectors over the years but now it is begining to be recognized for what it is, a true exoctic sports car, designed by one of the greatest sports car manufacturers, built with light weight alloys that provide fantastic acceleration along with excellent track handling. A V8 powered Porsche Grand Touring Sports car, this was the Porsche flagship in 1982 and the fastest production car in the world at 146 mph. Auto Transmission, power Steering, power Brakes. Tires are decent, but should be replaced. Good straight body with two minor dents in hood which can be removed by paintless dent repair. Runs great, very fast and excellent V8 engine sound. A true muscle car with Porsche handling to match. This was a great luxury car by Porsche, that has definitely been loved by someone. It has covered 107000 miles since new and is looking for a new home. These cars are becoming increasingly harder to find in nice shape. This is not a show car but a nice driver. The fuse box has been removed, cleaned and protected with a connection enhancer and reinstalled. This car is very dependable and is driven 2-3 times a week on a commute of 46 miles. Recently the guage pod has been acting up. The mechanic tells me it is corrosion on a ground wire. Can be fixed for around $200. I have not done this yet. The video shows the car with 18 inch turbo twists which DO NOT come with the car. It comes with the original wheels (as most people want) as shown in the still photos.
