Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1972 Corvette Coupe. It is War Bonnet Yellow with Saddle Vinyl Interior. It is a 350/200 car with Auto, PS, PB, and AC. I have had the car about 10 years and have done a lot of work to it. It has the original matching numbers motor and tranny that have been rebuilt and have less than 500 miles on them. It also has new brakes, battery, alternator, exhaust system, and BF Goodrich Tires. The chassis is solid with no visible rusted out spots. The body is straight and was painted the original yellow approx 5 years ago. At that time the bumpers were rechromed and all emblems, door handles and other small trim were replaced. The paint was done by a local shop and is what I would consider driver quality. The spring on the drivers side has gotten into the door edge and taken out a small chunk that will need to be repaired. In the interior, it has new Carpet, Seats, and Door Panels, as well as most of the small trim pieces. The Dash and headliner appear to be original and are in decent shape with a few small cracks. I also installed a custom autosound stereo that is made to fit in the factory hole. All the original gauges are there and they all work, even the clock. The car has AC but I haven't gotten around to getting it working, the old compressor and brackets will come with the car. The headlights and wiper door do pop up and I have just installed a new vacuum line kit. The car runs and drives good but needs to be driven more often and tinkered with a little to make an excellent everyday driver. This car is not a show car but it could be with a little more work. It is nicer than your average driver and would be fun to take to a cruise night and just enjoy as is. It has a low reserve and will be a great value for someone wanting to get into a matching numbers chrome bumper car. Car will be transferred with a notorized bill of sale only, GA does not issue titles on cars this old any more. Winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit within 24 hours and balance within 3 days. As you can see the reserve is now off so the Corvette will be sold to the highest bidder. Please ask any questions or come by and take a look before bidding.
