Vehicle Detail

I bought this car about a year ago, and have put countless hours and dollars into getting it into the great shape that it is in today. Ready for new projects, so this guy has to go! Registered in California through May 2012. Reserve price is $4750. Pictures available in full resolution here: http://filebox.vt.edu/users/twg/ $500 due within 24 hours of auction end. Balance must clear into my account before I will hand over keys. Happy to work with winning bidder to arrange shipping (at your expense), airport pickup, or delivery within 200 miles of 94596. The car has most factory options, including the clear roof panel (has some internal cracking in the acrylic, but does NOT leak). Starts, runs, and drives wonderfully. Automatic transmission rebuilt by the pros at Walnut Creek Transmission last August, under warranty until August 2012. Trans build is fairly aggressive and will slip the tires going into second. LT1 motor runs great and really rips! No major leaks. Engine does seep a small amount of oil, but only enough to make the bottom of the engine greasy - it has never put down a drop in the year I've owned it. Paint is in good shape for the age of the car and shines like a diamond when you put a fresh coat of wax on it. A few small nicks here and there. Tires only have a few thousand miles on them, as you can see in the tire picture. Interior still needs a bit of love - door panels show some wear, steering wheel could use a rewrap, and seat moving mechanisms need some tweaking (though they are entirely functional except for passenger side bolster movement). Here is what I can remember having replaced. I can provide receipts and/or order confirmations for almost everything: Radiator, all hoses Most of the vacuum hoses All fluids/regular maintenance items done Spark plugs/wires Studs/lug nuts EGR valve Fuel injectors D/S window motor Removed lock cylinders and had door keys made Wiper switch Fuel pressure regulator Rear brake pads Front+rear brake rotors Radio antenna One amp replaced One speaker replaced Instrument panel lens polished Replaced light bulbs in radio Replaced various accessory light bulbs Replaced all weather stripping (the GM weather stripping does NOT age well - you'll find this quickly if you look at other cars) Serpentine belt U-joints Starter Positive battery cable Actuators (hood and hatch) Hatch solenoid Ignition coil Ignition control module Distributor Added direct line in for an mp3 player (stereo jack) Few other minor things that are escaping me as well. Please call me directly if you have questions - Tom/7 o 3 3 o 4 3 1 6 o. On Jul-05-11 at 19:22:15 PDT, seller added the following information: The car also gets an intermittent service ASR (acceleration slip regulation, aka traction control) light. I looked at it once, but never got around to repairing it. Has something to do with the brake control module not receiving a throttle position signal from the throttle position sensor control module. Traction control works as normal, so seems to be a gremlin rather than a real issue. I apologize for the sketchy end of ad placement of this one, didn't remember until the day after listing!
