You are looking at a 1989 Chevy Caprice Classic Police Special. This car has been a good solid everyday driver. The Police Specials came with heavy duty suspension, front and rear swaybars,silicone hoses, heavy duty cooling system including power steering cooler and engine oil cooler. It has a fuel injected 350 V8, rebuilt 700R transmission overdrive with shift kit. Power windows all work as do the electric door locks. Has a power trunk release. Engine had new valve seals installed recently. No smoke Has a oil pressure and water temp. gauge installed. Engine has 40 pounds oil pressure at idle. If you know about the Caprice Classics you know what a solid car they are. This car runs great and rides very nice. This was a unmarked detective car and never had roof lights installed. It came from a local Police Dept. and I know the guy who drove it. Not too many "Hot Persuits" Has 149,000 miles and still running strong.
