Scout Terra 1975 with clear title, 4x4, 107,000 miles.. removable top, complete streamlined convertible. In my opinion the best looking pickup/convertible truck there is...-MECHANICAL--- This was running when I bought it about a year and a half ago. I then had the Carb rebuilt by Carburator exchange, put new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, battery, air filter, and there are 4 new tires. I went to start it yesterday and It started right up on carb spray, although I think something is sticking in the carb. Also the battery terminals seemed to be getting hot also. The engine does sound great, and has dual exhaust. This was a one owner farm truck. It has the 345- V-8 and is also 4x4. The 4x4 works and the engine sounds fine when running. It shifts in to all gears. The ignition needs fixed, there is button on the left side is how they started it, and a pair of pliers to move a rod up top back and forth. I know the brakes will need repaired, they worked a little when I drove it around my neighborhood, although the pedal feels weird and they will need repaired. the clutch seemed to be working fine. I had taken some off the dash screws out to clean all the gauges etc.. and some need to be put back together.-COSMETIC> It is pretty straight, Hood is very straight, sides are also. Obviously there are some rust issues, although I have seen much worse. The bed and side rear rockers all have rust. Wheel wells actually are solid. Missing the lens on the back left rear. I remember the headlights working , and the tailights etc... sometimes. The top is in great shape with no cracks. If you are not familiar with this model, the top comes off and so does the metal piece behind the seats which make it totally open.- OVERALL-- It is a original true Terra, 345 v8 4x4, straight body with 4 new tires and other parts replaced, which you is always good not to have spend money on new tires and tune up parts. Can be a daily driver fairly easy, or great for a full restore. TERMS/SHIPPING/ETC... Payment must be made within 3 days by paypal, or bank wire. I am in no way a mechanic, although I have bought and sold since I was 18 and I know what is good and what is bad, and who is trying to bull $h!T and who is not.
