This 1968 Pontiac GTO will be perfect for the GTO enthusiast who desires to restore a nice original car. This GTO is truly a classic barn find. The original color of the car is (N)Maroon (2)Black vinyl top. Trim is #223 and (N2) Black standard interior. This GTO comes with the special hidden lights(not working) feature which was an option for the 68GTO as well as the urethane bumper. Drivers door has rust at the bottom while passenger door has small rust bubble at bottom. The hood of the car is rust free and is excellent condition. The core support has rust around the battery. The headliner will need repair.There is a whole in the front splash pan. The rear quarters will need replacing. The dog legs and the fenders have rust but are repairable. The radiator appears to be the original factory radiator. The motor runs, however the car does need to be rebuilt and is not street worthy. The winning bidder will need to arrange a tow to remove vehicle from premises. The trunklid on the car is in excellent condition. The drivers floor has minor rust about the size of a quarter, the passenger floor and the frame are solid. The trunk pan will need replacing. The vehicle has tinted glass and factory A/C, however the compressor is not in the vehicle. This GTO comes with a Holley Spread Bore carburetor. I also have the original stock radio. The drivetrain engine code is YD. The date on the cylinder is D048. The interior is in good condition but shows wear consistent with a vehicle 43 years old. The drivers seat has a slight tear as shown in pictures. The GTO comes with the his/her shifter and automatic transmission. I have a clear Virginia title in hand.
