1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible VIN # 1412741084 ENGINE # F0044777 This is a great car to do a light restoration and continue driving or would make a great base to do a full fledge restoration. It is in running and driving condition with all instruments working such as lights, signals, wipers, etc... but the car should be gone through before excessive driving. I drive it to the corner store and back with no issues but if I would have a full tune up done before driving it excessively The body is straight and the undercarriage looks solid, but it does have some paint bubbles here and there. The interior needs to be redone and I do not have the rear back pad. The chrome needs to be restored and It does not have the original style air cleaner and one hubcap is missing. These cars have seen a great increase in value in recent years and good ones are becoming hard to find. Parts for these are readily available online and this would make for a fun project/driver for someone.
