THE STARTING PRICE IS MY RESERVE ($3500) I have a 1959 Cadillac convertible I purchasd in Sept of 2003 in West Virginia. I trailered it home to rebuild it but I still have yet to touch it. I purchased a 1959 Coupe De Ville to use as a donar car but fixed the coupe instead. I have it listed also on e-bay. Buy both and make a sweet convertible. This car is RUSTY. IT WILL NEED A FULL FRAME OFF RESTORATION. There is damage to the drivers rear quarter panel and it will need to be replaced. The floors are very rusty and will need replacing, the rockers will need replacing. The headder bow is rusty and will need work. The car is as I purchased it and the guy I bought it from just dropped the engine block and parts in the trunk. I will not say it is complete but he told me it was. The interior, top, engine, tranny, breaks, suspension, etc will need to be redone. THIS IS A REAL 59 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE and is a good platform to start your restoration. We all know what they sell for done right so I think it's worth the cost. I have a few extra parts (bumper, fender, etc) and an extra 59 engine block that goes with the car. The car has been stored outside covered with tarps for years so pictures are hard to get. Assume the worst for rust. I do not know how the frame is for rust nor did I inventory what is there or what is missing. You can pay $45000 for one that is hiding alot of problems under a shinny paint job and will need to invest $$$ to fix it up. Buy this one and do it right yourself and you will know what you have when you are done. The car is located in Calgary Alberta Canada, 3 hours North of the Montana border. It does not drive and you will need a flat be and tow truck to move it. I can help with shipping. I have a copy of clear WVA title but never finished the regerstration to enter it into Canada.
