I have been a automotive internall engine machinist since 1982. I also have built many cars over the years.This was my baby for the last 12 years.I am moving and cant keep every thing ,so I am selling. My kids have always figured this would be something they could get. Sorry not happening This is a higly modified 57 on the outside it looks normall but is anything but that! The engine is a 1978 ford 351w marine blck&heads,higher nodular castings I ground the crank to .010 undersize and dialed the throw from each pin to within .001 of center line to main journals. The block was bored out to .030 Cylinder heads have a 3 angle valve seat,as well as lightly ported&polished intake and exhaust Block Surfaced Block and pistons in parellel to wthin.003 Internal parts: Ford lighting pistons,Kieth Black New Clevitte 77 brgs Deck clearanced sqish camber Hd Gaskets Block studs(not head bolts) less warping New valves & seats 7:1 roller rockers Crane street cam External engine parts: Electonc ingnition MSD 6AL ingnition system Holly 650 doubel pumper Large air filter Chrome shorty headers Dual 2 1/2 side pipes Suspension: First I removed the whole front end, everything and had it sand blasted & repainted Also removed some of the leaf spings for a lower stance and weight New King pins & bushings honed out to fit New front shocks New tie rods & arms New steering arm Steering: New Toyota Landcruiser gear box installed in frame Ford power steering pump All new hoses from pump to gear box Nice and tight front end at highway speeds Transmission: C4 Ford 3spd (lightweight aluminium) automatic Rear suspension: Rear end is the original 9" first year! Heavy duty ,and original 3 ;73 gears Brake system: 78 Chevy Impala double master & power booster New proportining valve New brake lines on front New large Impala disc brakes & pads in front Rear brakes are drum Interior: VDO gages in dash Chrome IDIT GM tilt steering column & chrome drop column holder New carpet Seat reupolstered Interior lights new All glass except for front windshield new All glass rubber and door runners new Looks like Im running out of room. The trucks electrical system has also been re-wired.Tires & rims are new.The interior needs to be finished I do have more of the white channel for the headliner & doors. The door & ignition keys are all matched.It isnt completly done, should be repainted but very stong & solid body. Took it in the 4th of july parade last year and had thumbs up all around.
