Vehicle Detail

1956 Nash Metro, This car has been 99% completely restored. The Car was stored in the California desert for a number of years. No rust and no accidents. The car has recently been repainted (stripped to bare metal first) The motor was gone through and all new gaskets. Everything I could take off was powder coated Gloss black (all brackets and parts) New brakes, new tires, all new wiring loom, interior is brand new. Windshield is new and the rubber has all been replaced. I even dynamated the whole interior for a quiet ride. Runs and drives great. I wouldn't say fast but definitely quick 3 speed. I drove it to work for a couple of months and averaged close to 40MPG. Everything works on this car except the gas gauge, and blinkers (i think its just a loose wire, they worked before) I would recommend that the front suspension be gone through, I replaced all 4 shocks but its got a few squeaks when you hit a bump. The gas tank was removed and powder coated as well but the new seal leaks when you put in a full tank. Other then the front end bushings and tank seal, the exterior review mirror is missing and the front grill trim is missing as well. Other then that The car is currently registered and I drive it often. Parts are readily available for this car. I just need to free up space for other projects and pay off school loans. Contact me for any other information or pictures. The above is what was in the auction description when I bought this car 2 months ago. Since then, I have added the crome grill surround, a stainless spare tire cover, outside mirrors, new fuel sending unit, and seat belts. I've also had my mechanic change it to a negitive ground, and fix little things that needed fixing. I'm selling this car for two reasons. 1. I have 6 cars and it's time to thin the heard, and 2. (pay attention here) when your wife tells you to do whatever you want, she means don't do whatever you want. And seeing as how I want to stay married, I'm going to sell this car. If you have any questions, call me at 702-254-8220 ask for Ralph, or email me at hotrodrjm@aol.com Shipping is at the buyers expense, but I will help at my end any way I can, and be advised that the deposit is nonrefundable. Thanks for looking. Bid early and often.
