Vehicle Detail

I’ve been having a blast driving this micro car around town. Nobody knows what it is. It’s a Honda gosh darn it! This little guy runs like a top. The old gent I purchased it from had garaged it for many moons. He was a fastidious dude and before I drove away in the little car he showed me his tricked out camper van he customized. He also showed me his fancy vintage RV that supposedly had a cult following. Yes, the man was into machinery. It’s definitely been showing true in the little Honda. I’ve had to do no maintenance or tinkering just drive and go. I think this car has cured my obsession with muscle car behemoths. I get home from driving the Honda and just want to go again. You know why? Mischief! Yes, I get into mischief in this car. Just the other day, the brothas were driving their Cutlass convertibles in a procession. The light turned red and they were hogging the lane. I pulled up on the right and beeped my little horn and we all looked at each other. Hard stares turned to laughs instantly. And the Honda made friends with the gangstas (uh gentlemen). Just look at the pictures I took today. Drove up a pedestrian’s only handicap ramp, drove under some heavy equipment, drove into the train yard thru a gap in the fence, and the list of shenanigans goes on and on. This car represents FUN! Yes, FUN, all day every day. $10 gets you a half a tank. A Thai Chicken Burrito cost $10, how fun is that?! Not that fun. The Honda’s been running better and better after I woke it up from a long sleep. The exhaust was redone with a Glaspak muffler. It sounds like the 4th of July. Fun! The brakes have been redone. The whole car is a low miles car in the first place. I hit 70 mph on the freeway. The driver’s window is sticky. The back shocks are saggy. The wheels and steering wheel are vintage Shelby items. Look them up. It’s true. The interior’s in fantastic shape. The pics will never do it justice. The plastic coverings are still on the rear door panels. It must have got wet leaves in the drain in front of the windshield. It’s rusty there. In fact when I got the car, that whole vent part was taped off. No, nothing structural is compromised. I have a great car here. In fact, some poor guys came and fantasized about owning for 45 minutes. Lucky for me, I went back inside after 15 minutes. I just had this car in a car show and it got way much attention. Yes, you can have a $250K Ferrari but my cute and cool Honda trumps your Italian machismo 9 out of 10. So here you have it, hard to find car, stunning example, and an excellent original. Needs tinkering here and there, has some door dings, but man when will you ever find another in this shape…NEVER.
