1984 Honda Interceptor

For sale is a 1984 VF1000F, with some upgrades and changes. The bike has the engine from a 1985 VF1000R, the higher horsepower version that Honda released the following year. Additionally, the rear swing-arm and front forks are also from a 1985 VF1000R. The bike currently sits garaged, and I have no time to ride it, as I have 2 other motorcycles. The pictures are the best indicator of the bike's condition, and I rode the bike a number of times before parking it last fall. Pulls hard, and gives that great V4 ride. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but alas, sometimes the stable grows too big. Aside from some minor TLC, she will need steering head bearings and the fork seals will need to be cleaned. The battery is disconnected and may need a charge before starting her up. Tires are in excellent condition!!! barely been ridden. See the pictures for closeup. No dents in the tank, or any significant damage to body work. All the original body parts are present and in good condition. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I would like to see this great bike in the hands of a fellow rider.
