Vehicle Detail

1976 HONDA CB200t ** NO RESERVE**BIKE WILL BE SOLD TO HIGHEST BIDDER ** !!! BIKE HAS TITLE !!! I purchased this 1976 Honda CB 200 motorcycle four years ago. I had the carbs cleaned on it when I got it in 07 and intended on having my wife use it; however, we found out that we were expecting a baby shortly there after and the motorcycle hasn’t really be used all that much. I just put a new battery in it and had both carburetors gone through one month ago. The bike runs awesome and is in excellent shape. All the electronics (lights, blinkers, horn, and electric start work great). It has a kick starter as well which is nice in case you forget the key on! It has 6,4XX miles on it and is in great condition. I believe that there is one small dent in the tank (left side near the seat; look at picture taken from the back of the bike...it also looks like there is a dent on the upper right side of the tank, but there is not....just a smudge) and a couple dings in the chrome fenders, but chrome is nice. The paint is excellent and has never been touched up anywhere! There is some white paint missing from the "O" on the HONDA tank emblem on the left side. The chrome is very shinny with minimal to no pitting. The bike is completely original except for the exhaust pipes which I believe were from a larger CB and put on by the previous owner (right side one has a dent in it and left has a little hole I believe). It still has both original mirrors and even has the original plastic on both the break and clutch levers still. The left hand grip has some nubs peeling off of it. Both tires are new within the last 200 miles, so technically they aren't original either. The wheels are in excellent condition. The original seat is in MINT condition. Also, the original tool kit is complete, in great shape, and still in the original pouch! bike would be a great collectors bike, beginners bike, or great to use for just strolling around town. the only thing I would do to it if I kept it would be to put an original set of exhaust pipes back on it. BIKE DOES HAVE A TITLE!!! This bike is VERY straight for being over 35 years old and will make a great collector/rider for someone that can put it to use! I would keep it; however, I don’t use it and it is only taking up room in my garage. This is a NO RESERVE auction starting at $0.99 so it will be sold to the highest bidder. Please don’t bid if you don’t intend on paying/picking it up. I prefer for this item to be picked-up by the winning bidder within two weeks of the auction close. Please let me know prior to bidding if this is not possible. Buyer must arrange for shipping if unable to pick item up in Minneapolis, MN. I can be home almost anytime of the day to meet your or a carrier for item pick-up. I would like 20% down payment within 3 days of auction ending and for item to be paid in full within 7 days of auction close. If you have questions or would like to come and check it out please contact me via email or you can reach me (Jason) on my cell at: 612-618-7985 On Jun-26-11 at 18:00:34 PDT, seller added the following information:Please note: I looked the bike over again really good yesterday and have the following updates: I realized that the latch that is located under the seat (for locking the seat) is missing. The main latching part that the key goes in is still on the frame and it works with the original key that fits the ignition; however, the little latch that bolts to the underside of the seat has been missing since I got the motorcycle. Also, upon further inspection I noticed that there is a little pitting in a couple of spots on the front fender...there are two areas that are about .25" X .5" rectangular. I'm not sure if it is possible to buff it out or not. Plus I noticed a few little pits on the rear wheel as well but it is hardly noticeable. The bike has been sitting for a few weeks since the carbs were gone thru and I noticed that it missed on one of the cylinders when I started it up but then ran fine on both after 10 seconds or so. I called the mechanic who went thru the carburetors and I was told that this is common after sitting and it was suggested that some gas be run through it so I drove it around the block a few times. One last thing: I double checked all the electronics and for some reason now the brake light isn't working when applying the front break lever, but does when applying the rear foot break pedal. I know that it worked previously...maybe a bad contact??? Bike shifts and brakes/stops great. I am trying to describe this item as best as possible to ensure that no one is mislead since I know that some bidders won't have the opportunity of viewing it prior to purchase. I will be home the next two evenings and can arrange for showings upon request.
