1995 GMC Jimmy SLT 4WD. Just installed a new motor.It was running well for the first 1000 miles on new motor, but threw a code for ignition control module. So I went to have the distributor tested, but advanced auto's tester was malfunctioning, so I came home to put it all back together and when I went to put it back on compression a little water came out of the cylinder so I took it back apart to change the intake gasket from the blowbye and decided I no longer wanted to mess with it. So the thing just needs an intake gasket and be put back together(about a 3 hr job and it will run great) Like I said the motor is a reman. from proformance engines and virtually brand new.This would make a great Father /Son project and you will have a great first car. This vehicle is in Decent shape for its age. The body is almost completely straight except for a few scratches and a miniscule amount of rust, and the bumpers have been in contact with another vehicle(not since Ive owned it) so they are warped a bit. It has a crack across the bottom of the windshield and the dash has minor cracks in it. The interior is leather and the drivers seat has a tear in it but seat covers hide it. It also has a brand new viper alarm with keyless entry, and everything is power and functions properly.It was running great before I took the distributor off, it just had a small stumble or misfire(hence the water in cylinder)The reason I'm selling is because I have put alot of money into it to attempt a restoration, but we have been having financial difficulties and can no longer afford it nor do I have the time. It could also use a front end alignment. Thanks for looking.
