This NICE 1998 Honda Civic LX has been donated to our non-profit organization, and we have not physically driven the vehicle ourselves. We understand that this Honda runs and drives well, and has 128,537 miles on it. The 1.6 liter, 4 cylinder engine runs great and gets good gas mileage, and the automatic transmission shifts well. The car does have a " parasitic drain" on the battery if it is left sitting for several days without being run. The battery is in good condition, and charges right back up. AGAIN, this only happens if the car has been sitting for several days without being started, and DOES NOT happen if the car is started daily. We do not know why the car does this, and it should be an easy fix! The car is in good condition in and out (see pics), but the clearcoat is peeling on the rear bumper (again, see pics). We understand that this is the result of a minor previous accident, and the repaint was not up to factory standards (easy fix!). Also, the passenger side front fender has been repainted (professionally) due to a minor parking lot mishap. It looks fine, and is only noticeable if you are looking for it. The tires, brakes, glass, and exhaust are all in good condition, and the car does have power windows, AC, power sunroof, and a trunk mounted CD changer!
