1957 Chevrolet 4door Bel Air Sedan, Sierra Gold with Beige top. I am the second owner of this car and it has less than 56K original miles. Have owned for approximately 27years and the car has always been garaged. List of things that have been updated include brakes(complete), gas tank, all hoses and belts, and windshield. Rear backup housings were replaced new from the box. The car was repainted the original colors back when I purchased. The interior is all original with headliner and seats in great condition. Carpeting is original as well as trunk compartment including mat, spare tire, jack, jack instructions and trunk liner. Chrome side moldings along bottom were replaced new from factory and fender skirts added. The spinners are original spinners and not replicas. The engine compartment was repainted at the time the car was painted. It was repainted by local body man Bob Rice and all mechanics done by local Chevrolet man Ron Rice or my father. The car starts great and runs fine, but has been garaged for it's entire time I've owned. The body is very solid with only 2 places touched up when painted. Behind the front wheels were half dollar sized plates put in place and nicely redone. Everything else on the body is absolutely nice. Things to consider are a rub on the front right bumper where the car was parked up against a curb from previous owner, missing radio knob, and aluminum inserts in the backup lense area are rough. Pictures will show all of these. The carpet is worn, but original. Motor is the 283 with Powerglide trans. I replaced the white wall tires years ago and have very few miles on them. This car has never seen snow and rain very few times. Just needs to be driven and enjoyed. I am the second owner of this vehicle. This car is located at my parents house in Rushville, Illinois.
