Hello and welcome to my auction! Up for auction is my 1979 Lincoln Mark V. This is the last year for the full sized Lincoln and this beautiful body style. This car comes with the 400 cubic inch, 6.6 liter V8 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission. It also has the original 2 barrel carb. This car is unrestored and does show some wear and tear after 32 years. However, the car is very solid with only some minor surface rust that is barely noticable. I do love this car, but being that I am currently job hunting and may end up out of state, it's best that I sell it to someone who can take care of it and maybe put a little more money into it to have a stunning automobile. What has been done so far? Rebuilt engine at approximately 32,000 miles (I do have the receipt and parts list from the Ford dealership that did it; Spring, 2010). New power antenna shortly after engine rebuild (Summer, 2010). New seals around the windows (Winter, 2011). New battery (Fall, 2010). Air conditioner converted to modern refrigerant (May, 2011). New windshield washer fluid pump (June, 2011). New air coditioner/heater blower motor (June, 2011). With this work done, the winning bidder will have a car ready to drive. It is my current daily driver, which is why an exact mileage is not listed. The major mechanical work is done on this car. If you want a show car, all it will take is some cosmetic work.
