Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my '61 Ford Econoline Pickup. I have no time to give this truck what it needs so my loss is your gain!! I need this gone quickly!! I picked this up from a family friend about 5 yrs ago but have run out of interest and time to finish her. This truck has sat next to $100,000 cars at shows and people still flock to it!! It is a real head turner. It was my daily driver for about two years until about three years ago when I really started doing work on her. This truck will run with a charge on the battery and will start it for potential buyers. It is in decent condition for it's age and will make someone a fantastic restoration project or put a little effort into it and drive as is. Here is what I have done to it and some things that need to be done yet: -This has the original straight six 170ci one barrel holly carb -3-speed manual trans on the tree -It also has decent tires all the way around mounted on older Gran Torino rims with the original 'GT' hubcaps (these rims alone are worth couple hundred for the set) -I have taken the dash down to bare metal (which looks sweet) -Repainted door panel inserts and armrests -Carpeted cabin (minus top of wheel wells) -Repainted original headliner -Installed coolant overflow tub -Oil temp, volt, add on cluster gauges (need to be reconnected) -Installed new (2000K miles ago) GM single line out alternator. The old alternator that used a voltage regulator came out but I never pulled the old wiring for it. This needs to be done as the system will NOT charge with it left as is. I never got to it but have had several mechanics confirm it is a simple operation. -New starter (2000k miles ago) -This has triple zoom-zoom pipes installed under the sides of the bed and they wrap up the sides of the bed (these were custom made for $400 and painted with high heat black paint) of course with this being a straight six only one of the cluster of 3 on the passenger side is actually an exhaust and the rest are dummy pipes -The brakes need attention. when I parked this in my garage last fall they worked fine. when I pulled it out last month they are really soft so I would say this needs to be towed or trailered for safety reasons -stereo in pictures is Not included in the auction I am sure I am missing and forgetting alot. Please ask questions before you bid/purchase. Please serious bidders only. More pics available upon request. This vehicle comes with NO WARRANTY!! I have a clear title in hand!! Shipping is NOT available and this is a local PICKUP ONLY!! $500 deposit due immediately upon auction end and balance due withing 7 days of auction end. If you don't have the cash, don't bid!! I need this transaction completed as quickly and smoothly as possible.
