Read the entire description and think about this loaded SR5 4Runner....I am not sure you will ever find another one like it. I bought this off the showroom (I have the picture still on my phone)of a Toyota Store in St. Louis as a One Owner 4Runner (they traded for another new Toyota) and just hate to sell it , but its too nice for what I want to do with it and the thought of commuting with it doesnt work. Every time my family rides in it or my kids have a muddy shoe, I cringe even though it has mats on top of the original mats....It deserves to be preserved and loved. I do not think you will find another loaded SR5 with these options in this shape again ever..........Good luck with the bidding as it will be sold at this auction. HISTORY: Since 1986 until a 4 months ago this 4Runner was owned an One owner, an older married couple in Missouri. They bought it new and I have the original MSO and title plus the owners manual and the original brochure they specified what they wanted on it. It stayed in Missouri it's whole life until I brought it to Kansas. It was always maintained (the toyota mechanics manual and every part every removed and the extras are included)and garaged it's entire life. There were no pets or kids in this 4Runner and it shows. It was never smoked in and the lighter looks brand new as does the ash tray. The wheels are original and this 4Runner is unmolested and certainly unabused. This 4Runner was babied it's whole life and while I hate to sell it, it is way too nice to be my highway commuter It also comes with the orginal window sticker showing the options and purchase price. It has mostly original paint and I cannot tell where if it has been painted. No wrecks that anyone knows of and the Toyota store I bought it from did a thorough inspection when I bought it.It came with a factory stripe kit for the side and it may have had some paint work on one side or the other. It also had some very light hail that was Paintless dent repaired by a master technician using high end craftsmanship drilling NO holes or other and it is undetectable to my eye. The tailgate has one ding that could be PDR removed and no dents or real scratches. While not perfect, the exterior is way beyond most survivors and this 4Runner has absolutly No RUST and never has had any.Ziebart Rustproof when new and undercoating plus factory rust protection package.This truck has not been glossed over to look this good, it does look this good. the under side is black with ziebart undercoat and has been since new. EXTERIOR: The original white paint shines very nicely. There are no dings in the body (except minor one in tailgate)and absolutely 100% RUST FREE. There is minor cracking to the plastic moldings over the doors on the drip rails. There are some minor chips and scratches but the truck looks beautiful and there is no major damage, just normal wear type items. No oxidization in the paint. Top is perfect all around. The top has NEVER been off this 4Runner! Front chrome grill and bumper look great. All factory skid plates are in place. All glass is clear and nearly perfect except windshield has some chips in it. . All doors and the tailgate open and shut perfectly with no issues. Even the factory stripe kit looks great. The original owner had installed by the dealer, KC Fog Lights that work(it come with a new in box pair and the covers to replace the ones on it(they are looking a little worn but work) . All weatherstripping is very soft and seals well. No leaking in this 4Runner that I could see anywhere. The running boards are in excellent shape as are the alloys. Aftermarket Window shades have a few dings but do not leak. INTERIOR: The interior on this 4Runner is in amazing shape. The Front Buckets, back seat, side panels and carpet show no wear at all. Looks as if no one ever used the rear passenger area. All seatbelts are perfect. There is some minor wear here and there and the console kid hinge has been repaired before. Both door panels look perfect with one tiny spot on driver (I have not tried to clean it).Very minimal fading of the plastic parts that you would normally expect to see. Rear cargo area looks almost new with very minimal wear at all. Headliner in both the shell and the cab is perfect. Original jack and tools appear to have never been used and are in their original places. As far as options, this was FULLY LOADED truck, (all options except sport seat package) with power windows and locks, cruise (it works) ,the altimeter gauges, factory alloys, factory trailer tow, has the power window in the tailgate that can be operated with a key or on the center console. Factory A\C blows very cold !. Heater is HOT. All guages work perfectly as do all lights, horn, wipers, turn signals etc. Everything works Clock keeps perfect time. The original premium AM/FM stereo cassette with electric antenna works great (haven't checked the cassette deck as I don't have any cassettes) and all the buttons are bright and show no wear. In case you are not familiar with the seating configuration of the 4Runner, the rear seats do fold down to increase storage space. Overall it is in beautiful shape inside and is a real pleasure to drive. MECHANICAL: It has the desireable 22R EFI 4 cylinder engine (not a hot rod by any means) It leaks nothing, runs nice, stops perfectly and is tight and true. It Runs very cool. Michelin Tires are older and have probably 60% treadlife all around and the spare is still brand new underneath the original cover underneath. Clutch and Transmission shifts perfectly with no issues. All 4WD components work great and I drove it this winter in snow and it did great.I feel confident that you could fly in and drive this home anywhere on the planet with no issue and get great gas mileage along the way. It uses some oil (quart every 1000 miles or so but does not smoke or knock. Mechanic said drive it and don't worry about it.I do know that it needs new rear springs or you can add helpers. I will leave the mechanics up to the new owner. It has been well cared for but I would drive it anywhere.Remember it is and old vehicle, not a new one. SUMMARY: A rare find, first generation, 1st year with the good suspension, a one owner 4 Runner in fantastic condition. This truck will make any Toyota or off road enthusiast proud to own. What a great investment, these are getting harder and harder to find in this condition and they will keep creeping up in value as the supply dwindles, its original and nice. If you find one cleaner then you better buy it. I am selling locally so I do reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
