Vehicle Detail

Here is my 1995 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas. (I CAN EMAIL YOU MORE PICTURES UPON REQUEST, THE BODY DOES NOT HAVE ANY NOTICEABLE DINGS,DENTS, OR SCRATCHES.) *the auto dimming rearview mirror was two toned yesterday morning when i got into the car, this has never happened before., we have had 95+ degree days for the past 4 days here in MI)* Glovebox also will not open? Currently it has 113,1xx miles on it, but it is my daily driver. I dont check all the other Jags for sale online, but I'm willing to bet mine is one of the few/only ones on here with a clean title and NO current or anticipated issues. I bought this car in February excited to own a Jag. After the second week of March I noticed the smell of coolant when I turned my car off, well turns out the coolant began to leak into the engine, meaning I needed a new head gasket.... 3,500 dollars later the following work was done: -Engine flushed and cleaned -Head Gasket replaced -Radiator flushed -Ignition coils replaced -Spark plugs replaced -Oil Changed -New aftermarket radio and speakers (the stock radio and speakers will be put in if the vehicle sells, the radio works but the speakers are blown) I have receipts for all the work done and it is all under warranty for one year from the shoppe. Whenever I get stopped at a light, or when I am filling up my tank, people are always asking me what year the car is, telling me how beautiful it is, saying "Now thats a Jag". People in other Jags wave to me. It is kind of a conundrum, when I think about my Jag, I hate it for the money I had to put into it...but then as soon as I see it, I love it again, and when I get inside of it, you realize some people only dream about owning a Jag, and youre in the drivers seat. The car has a lot of power, its quick, if you give it gas, you will smoothly accelerate and leave the rest of the world behind you. It recommends Only Premium Unleaded Gasoline (thats all I put in), but it can run on Regular Unleaded without concern. The seats are extremely comfortable, stiff enough to give you support yet soft enough to forget that youre sitting in car. The handling is amazing, you dont feel the G forces when going 90 on the expressway (its a Jag, of course Ive tested it a couple times). The suspension is strong yet giving where it needs to be. You do not feel the small bumps in the roads, like on the expressway when you go over the little tar lines, or in construction zones on Hall Rd. or 696 where you would hear and feel * bump bump*, *bump bump*. You know you have a firm grip on the pavement at all times. There is nothing like sitting in that drivers seat, starting it up, shifting effortlessly into reverse with the woodgrain shift knob, then putting it into drive and looking up and out your windshield at the beautiful curves in front of you, you can see that 500 dollar silver Jaguar leaping off your hood saying "Let's Go". Anyways, heres what you want to know about the condition and performance of this car: The car is clean, however it has a some discoloring from the sun on the armrests on the doors. There are no rips or tears in the leather. It has a moonroof. There are fold down picnic tables on the back of the front seats. It has a wood grain steering wheel. The seats are both power. (Front, back, up, down, reclining, lumbar support, and the headrests.) As a matter of fact, it has power everything- windows and mirrors... The odometer is digital and it displays your tripometer, fuel avg, fuel used, and distance til empty. It has a digital climate control display. Both heat and a/c work. It has fog lights. It has sport and normal driving options whether you prefer sportier or more fuel efficient performance. The tires are in almost new shape. Comes with a full size spare in trunk. Now if you are still reading/interested: When the shoppe told me it was going to be $3200 to fix this car, I wasnt sure if I should cut my loss or get the work done...but the owner of the shoppe brought me in and spent TWO HOURS with me inspecting the engine, engine components, lines and hoses, electrical, tires, exhaust, and suspension. There were no signs of wear and tear that would make one anticipate needing any repairs any time soon. That is when I made the decision to have the work done to this vehicle. Once again, all of the work completed has a WARRANTY for 1 Year. I have a CARFAX with this car too, ONE accident involving minor front end damage when the car was 11 months old back in January of 1996, repairs done by the dealer in Alabama where it was from. This car is RARE, I have yet to see another one for sale as I have been searching to put a price on mine... so dont tell me that blue book says this or that... This car was $79,000 when it was new. With all the work I have put into it, I believe it to be worth what I am asking for...you can entertain me with an offer once you look at it though. Im not looking to make a quick deal on this car, I want to sell it to someone who realizes its worth and is willing to pay for an amazing car. Do your research on this year make and model, the Vanden Plas is exquisite and they are still going strong at 275k if regular maintenance is completed.
