It could be called a Bonneville with side pipes, or a Bonneville with more suspension travel, whatever, it's a modern Triumph with fuel injection, disc brakes, state of the art fit and finish. If ever you thought to yourself, I'd love to have a Triumph, this could be the perfect bike for you. The classicly styled seat is accented with white piping for that "just right" look! The upswept pipes have a very pleasant bit of rumble, not enough to attract the local LEO or to disturb your neighbor when you leave at 0 dark thirty for a ride. The chrome is deep and lustrous, and the heat shields are all in the right place, properly engineered to protect you and your S.O. The high pipes also improve the lean angle. If you want to ride like a looney in the twistie bits, this would be a better choice. Not only are the pipes up out of the way (nobody likes to scrape chrome) with the taller suspension, you've got more travel to gobble up the bumps and a higher lean angle to begin with. Sure, a Thruxton or a Bonne look cool, but the best all around classic Triumph is the Scrambler. This 865cc parallel twin is buttery smooth, with more than sufficient power to make any kind of road a playground. The fuel injection mapping is precise and balanced without ever a sputter or cough. And the fuel economy, if you're concerned about $4.00 - $5.00 per gallon gasoline, commuting on a Scrambler would be perfect. The previous owner replaced the standard handlebars with Triumph Bonneville T-100 bars. they're a little narrower, with a little more rise to make it easier and more enjoyable to blast around in traffic. Anytime you want more maneuverability, this is the bars that get it for you! The other plus is that you sit up a little straighter, putting less strain on your wrists and back. The factory warranty is for two years, 24 months, with unlimited mileage. This bike was originally sold February 27, 2010, so the WARRANTY IS GOOD UNTIL FEB. 27, 2012!
