Update I just reduced the car all you watchers please feel free to bid I promise I wont bite you. I have nearly 41700 now .. I had a gentleman and his wife come and look at it on Saturday. They said the online details are representative of the car. While he was here I found some more receipts that show the car had a newer clutch, newer exhaust newer starter, newer radiator, newer fuel pump etc and general refresh on maintence items including it looked like egr valve not that many miles ago. This car runs and drives great I can not tell you that enough No problems is running great Please see the close up pictures you can see the pin stripe that is original. There is some wear on the drivers side near the handle but is still there very much. I have no doubt this car is all original body panels and suspect that it is # matchingthe condition is awesome. No cracks on the doors no rust anywhere. I truely feel that the car has not been driven in the rain in 20+ years if ever. (I can not prove this but how clean the underneath and the engine bay is.) I had the car sold but the gentleman who was buying it had to back out due to his wife's health. The same gentleman had the car inspected by a third party company. They noted 3 minor issues and otherwise called it in good to great condition. Noted as great for its age. the 3 issues are 1. 4 inch tear in top repair cost less then $50 or replace $300 2. Blinker relay going bad repair cost less then $20 3. minor oil pan oil leak. The inspector did not have an estimate on repairing this but is not a major deal and does not effect the running condition. This is a 1 previous owner amazing shape MGB. The body panels are original as is the engine gearbox and interior(see note on seat covers). Take a look at the pictures the engine bay is as clean as new The interior is free of any rips or tears with upgraded Moss Leather seats (near$1000). The carpet is awesome as well. The wheels are in as good as new shape (see pics) and the car runs great. I have driven her over 350 miles in the last couple weeks and have had no problems at all. In fact have averaged over 27mpg. Cars in this shape are rare to be all original . There is NO RUST that I have been able to find and I have looked.If you need to see an area pictured for your inspection please ask. Every thing works great and she runs like a top. There are 2 small door dings on the passenger side is the only things that I have not noted. I will be glad to take it within 25 miles to drop at a shipping company so that it can be delivered to you. I welcome bids but please be reasonable this a once in a blue moon chance to buy a car like this in this shape. Sorry I know the pictures of the floor pan are not great however the underside is solid hard to get good pics I am afraid from an oil change place. I poked around trying to find any rust and could not find any. If you like feel free to come inspect it and if you find any major rust at ALL I will gladly cancel your bid. EVERYTHING else looked great. Someone on another auction asked me could it be driven 600 miles? I for real think it could I have driven it over 300 miles with no issues what so ever. And lastly the not as much fun stuff. Payment must be made in full prior to delivery. No I wont send you x amount of dollars with the car blah blah. I request an immediate deposit via paypal of 500 after auction ends and full payment within 7 days. The car is sold as is where is how is. The tires while in good shape tread wise are older though they hold air just fine show no signs of dry rot and drive just fine I would caution on their unknown age for a very long highway trip.pictured
