1982 BMW R100CS - A REAL R100CS NOT A PIECED TOGETHER BIKE Original 40mm Bing Carburetors Original Badges & Original Paint Selling this BMW R100CS for a friend who decided at the beginning of this season that he is not going to ride again. Reserve Price has been lowered from last listing To make an appointment to see it give us a call (410) 799-3588 during the business day. We are on the east coast near Baltimore, MD. You can fly in and ride this bike home without a problem! The bike runs great. No leaks, no noises. I have put a few miles on it the past few weeks making sure there are no issues. Warms up quickly, loves to run at highway speed and handles very well. Practically new tires and was serviced by Bob's BMW before putting it in conditioned storage almost 3 years ago. Bike is kept on battery tender and was so in storage too. This R100CS is a commemorative edition. As far as I know it has higher compression pistons, the 40mm Bing carburetors, and similar looks to the R90S. This example comes with many extras that improve the handling and longevity of this classic BMW. Stainless Keihan headers and mufflers Corbin Seat - day long comfort Brown's Side stand - a real side stand! Newer braided lines on oil coolerBraided stainless front brake lines Double Loop lower fork braceSan Jose Billet top triple clamp - a real improvement CC Products Side frame rails to stiffen the frame and obtain better handling BMW Touring cases - a must have for long trips Sealed Gel BatteryBattery Tender Jr. Items not shown but will also be included in the sale are a owner's manual, service manual and Reynolds Ride Off center stand. Also, all documentation for the oil cooler and San Jose top triple clamp are included. BMW bags that are shown are not the original bags. These are replacements for the damaged originals. I want to disclose that there are a few dings in the tank as shown and the seat has a few cracks in one side cover. Ride it another 100,000 miles or restore it. I would keep it but I own 9 motorcycles of my own! MILEAGE IS ACTUALLY LESS THAN 121,000. Original Speedometer replaced at approximately 97,000 This bike is listed for sale locally so we reserve the right to end this auction before closing. Ready to tour this summer. non-refundable deposit of $300 is due within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment is due within 7 days, please.
