Vehicle Detail

This is NOT grandpa's Mach 1. This ancient road warrior has a 351 Cleveland 4v that has been bored .030 over, has a Comp brand street performer cam, a 750 cfm Edelbrock carburetor, high rise intake, Hooker headers, Flow Master exhaust (exhaust and tail pipes just installed), and numerous other performance upgrades so that the projected hp. is 420 plus. It has a new starter, a new voltage regulator, a new solenoid, a new alternator, new aluminum pullies, new battery, new four core radiator, new aluminum fan, new plugs, new air cleaner, new windshield washer tank and motor, and newer plug wires. It has an HEI ignition. There is less than 400 miles on this motor and I have a receipt for $4,400.00 to document just the engine rebuild w/headers alone. In fact I have over 13k in receipts for the work that has been done to this car. Mated to the M code 351 is a four speed top loader with a Hurst shifter and a 3.5 traction lock rear end. The transmission just had a clutch kit installed and it shifts and grabs as it should. The interior was recently redone and is in like new condition without any rips or tears. It has a working factory installed tach and the gauge package (temp., alt., oil), no idiot lights. The window felt, and weather stripping have been replaced as well, trunk included. There is a Grant steering wheel with a dash of yellow which looks so much better than the original. The laminate wood grain door inserts were replaced with black and yellow sequential stripes because they just don't look like they belong in a muscle car, perhaps in Dad's LTD. My opinion. The exterior of the car was painted in the last few weeks, in the original colors of yellow and black, and all of the decals were replaced. It is a two stage paint job (the black on the hood is a single stage Sem product "Hot Rod Black), and all of the nicks and blemishes will be on you, the paint is flawless. It has a new grill, new fog lights, and new pony insignia. The windshield and the antenna mast are new. The rear bumper is new. It still sports the Magnum 500 wheels that it came with and they are without any curb rash or peeling chrome. The floor boards, torque boxes and trunk are all original metal and look excellent. The B.F. Goodrich tires are new. This is a sharp looking car and the dummy who paid 50k for his plastic Mustang won't be getting any looks when you meet him at the stop light. His car will continue to depreciate radically and melt while yours will appreciate in value and insure for FAR less. Driving a classic car should be a no brainer. The steering components have all been gone through as well replacing the inner and outer tie rod ends and the pitman arm. Everything else is very tight. The shocks, both front and rear, are recent and have no leaks or evidences of failure. Mated to the factory installed sway bar the car handles very well. We also replaced the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes but left the front disc brakes alone because they are at 60%. This car is ready to dominate on the street right now. The exhaust note leaves NO QUESTION in the mind of the hearer that this is one bad ass 'stang. The lope of the cam is heart warming... Give me a call at (719) 650-8911 and I'll fire it up for you. As with all used vehicles this one is sold as is and where is. Please do not bid unless you have the funds to complete the transaction. I welcome your inspection. If you are at a distance hire someone off of Craigslist to be your eyes. If I have misrepresented the car I will pay the bill, up to $100.00. I will do everything I can to assist you with shipping but you must make all of the arrangements. There is a non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 required via paypal within 24 hours of the end of the auction and you need to call me at the number provided for details as to how pay the remainder. I have ONE negative feedback from an individual who asked to back out of the transaction when he didn't follow through on payment as we had agreed upon. He never saw the item and I even returned his "non-refundable" deposit but he left negative feedback. Because Ebay is 'pro' buyer I was unable to remove it. In other words, bid with confidence. This car is represented accurately and you won't be disappointed. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If you are not wanting to let this one get away give me a call ASAP. On Jun-03-11 at 07:31:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I should add that the car has power steering and power brakes and that the dash pad is newer, no cracks or warping. On Jun-06-11 at 08:07:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a number of stock parts, radiator, pulleys, brackets, etc. that will go with the car to the highest bidder. There is also some paint that the winning bidder will get for touch ups. If the car doesn't make the reserve I will contact the three highest bidders with an offer to buy the car for a determined amount, not necessarily their highest bid.
