Really cool fun car. This is a kit car with a VW drivetrain but is a blast to drive. A real Bugatti like this is worth a fortune however this one can be driven and enjoyed for alot less. I bought this a couple years back with the intention of repainting and restoring it as a driver. So far all I have done is get it running and driving. I have done some brake work to include new lines to make it stop. The brakes stop the car now but probably need a bit more work. The tires hold air but are dry rotted and need replacing. The engine starts and runs great. I have driven around town several times since I got it running. The accelerator cable needs replacing now as it broke last time I drove it. You can still drive it however since you can pull cable by hand. Makes it even more fun to drive but an easy fix. In getting the motor running I replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump. I also replaced the carburator and starter and coil. As I mentioned it cranks and runs fine now. The car did not have seats when I got it and I have been sitting on a 2x6 to drive it however I found a set of MGB seats and although they are not bolted in yet they will work. They will go with the car if you want them. The frame is in good shape with minimal rust and no rust through. It would be easy to remove the body and repaint it. The neat thing about this car is everything is easy to work on and get to. The body needs paint as well but is in good shape. As a racer it really would not have to be painted but to show it could use a repaint. Pull it off and send it to the pant ship while you repaint the chassis and frame yourself. All and all this is a great summer porject that always turns heads whenever u drive it. I do not have a title so it will be sold with bill of sale only. As far as I can tell the motor is a mid 60's VW motor. These motors are indestructable. Feel free to call and ask questions 334-393-8448.
