GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Up for auction today is a sleek and beautiful 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS! This vehicle has an aftermarket turbo kit installed which was manufactured by “Star Performance”! This particular eclipse has very low miles; only 88,000! The engine is a 2.0L 4-cylinder (420A Engine Code)! The transmission is a 5-speed MANUAL!
EXTERIOR: (Rating – 9/10!!)
This Eclipse is in excellent condition for its year! As you will see in the pictures below this car was well maintained over the years! The panels are dent free with no scratches or dings and the paint is near flawless! The only issue with the vehicle's body is a couple of blemishes on the rear bumper (see pictures below). This particular Eclipse has a bigger and heavier spoiler added for better down force! The wheels are 17’’ Konigs! The headlights and front bumper lights are smoked (Tinted). The vehicle was lowered with KYB AGX Struts and Lowering Springs. It's a great setup because it lowers the vehicle yet gives you a smooth ride without the bouncey feel you get with cheap lowering kits.
The engine is a 2.0L/4-cylinder with an aftermarket Turbo system! The turbo is a T3/T4 Turbonetics Hybrid and is pushing out about 10-12 LBS of boost! The turbo kit is made by Star Performance! Included with this turbo kit is the following; T3/T4 Turbonetics Hybrid Turbo Charger, Vortech FMU (Fuel Pressure Riser), Turbo Exhaust Manifold, 2.75" Downpipe (connects at Catalytic Converter) , Chrome Piping with Beaded ends for solid connections, Oil Lines/Tees Adapters need for plumbing, Deltagate Wastegate Mark II, High pressure in-tank Fuel Pump, Electronic Fuel Components, Star Performance Front Mount Intercooler System, Intercooler Chrome piping with beaded ends and HKS STD BOV! This is a “stage 2” turbo kit because it adds a front mount intercooler! This kit raises crankshaft power output to about 280hp with 9-10psi of boost. This vehicle was tuned by our mechanics and is properly running! The turbo spools up with no problems; quickly and quietly! The clutch works great too; it engages and disengages in and out of gears with ease! Also with this vehicle has a full mandrel bent exhaust with a catalytic, (which allows to pass emissions) manufactured by “Thermal Research & Development”! The only issue worth noting is when the valve cover was taken off to be painted, the previous owner over-tightened it when putting it back on and now the engine sounds like it has a ticking sound. There is no problems with the engine and if you want that noise to be eliminated just replace the valve cover. Otherwise, the engine runs great and the turbo setup looks and sounds fantastic.
The tires on this vehicle will need to be replaced soon as they are approaching the end of their life cycle!
This vehicle was road tested for well over 500 miles! This Eclipse is mechanically sound and ready to go!
INTERIOR: (Rating – 8/10!!)
The interior of this vehicle is in good condition! There are some custom modifications done to this Eclipse! The driver and passenger seats are Tenzo R Racing seats! The passenger seat does not move on its rails however the back reclines. The driver “A” pillar was customized to hold the “Boost, Exhaust Gas Temp, and Air/Fuel ratio” gauges! Also installed but not connected is a “Greddy” turbo timer!
Some other option that this vehicle has is ABS, power sunroof, power windows, power locks, aftermarket radio which is AM/FM/CD! The previous owner installed a sound system however removed the subwoofers and amplifiers. The wiring is still located in the trunk for the amplifiers and subs to be re-installed! The rear window comes with a wiper blade to clear the rain for an easier view!
The sunroof is fully operational; opens and closes with ease! The sunroof visors however slipped off of their rails and are slightly tough to open and close.
The heater and A/C work like a charm! The A/C blows arctic cold air and cools the car in minutes! Just as the A/C, the heater works great and warms the car up in seconds!
AUDIO SYSTEM
This particular Eclipse comes with an amazing sound system! There is an aftermarket headunit which is AM/FM/CD compatible! The radio is made by “Alpine”! There are four stock speakers throughout this vehicle and they project a good sound!

This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with all the information about it provided in the auction! It is the responsibility of the buyer to read over the entire auction and ask any questions about the vehicle prior to bidding. All sales are final. General upkeep such as Oil Changes, Alignment, Fluid Changes, Tire Rotations, Brake Replacement and all other General Maintence is the responsibility of the Buyer.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction.
This deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE if the purchaser backs out of the deal! Your deposit will be forfeit if you waste the time of the seller by not going through with the deal for personal reasons!
The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
You are bidding on a USED car and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. Such things as loose knobs and panels are likely. I will do my personal best to show you every fault I find with the car but some things might go unseen to me.
I do NOT accept returns on any vehicles! You must read the entire auction and call with any and all questions. I also suggest you come and see the vehicle prior to bidding (if you are in the area). I do my best to post everything I know about the vehicles I sell. If there is something unclear, please ASK rather than assume! I will always do my best to clear everything up prior to a sale!
Also, when purchasing a used car please note we do NOT change or replace, unless noted in the auction, such issues as engine oil & other fluid changes, tune ups, tire rotations, belt changing, wheel alignments, brakes and rotors, wiper blades, motor mounts, unless totally worn, and any other normal wear & tear issues. We also do NOT guarantee these vehicles will pass inspection unless the general maintenance is completed. What we DO guarantee is that our vehicles will be as accurately described as possible.
Fee and Tax Information: A $250.00 processing fee will be added to the final price. This fee is non-negotiable and will cover your Temporary Tags. This fee also includes a pickup from the local Airport, Bus station, and Train station. PA residents are responsible for all taxes and notary fees at the time of purchase.
A $150.00 LATE FEE will be added to the final price if the full payment is not made within 3 days of the auctions end.
A $5.00 PER DAY STORAGE FEE will be added to the final price if the vehicle is left on our lot over 7 days from the auctions end. Please contact me if you need more than a weeks time to pick up your vehicle prior to bidding!
Due to the fact that Paypal charges a roughly 3% surcharge for every transaction, I will ask that you do NOT pay me the balance of the vehicle with Paypal. If you want to pay anything over the $500.00 deposit then you will need to pay with either Cash, Cretified Bank Check, or a Wire Transfer.
