Vehicle Detail
This is a 1957 Triumph Trophy TR6 and it is a head turner of a bike, if its looks don't get peoples attention the sound from the over sized un-baffled exhaust will! I have owned this bike for over 20 years, I did all the customizations in the early 90's. I tore down the wheels and had them re-chromed, spokes and all, I also chromed the Oil Tank, Rear Fender, Gas Cap, and Head light. The handle bars are low profile drag bars that give the bike a more aggressive riding position. The solo seat, I had custom made at a local upholstery shop, I do not have the original seat. The Motor runs and sound, like I said before, Amazing! it doesn't have the Amal Carburetor, what is on there is what came with it when I bought it. The Frame was painted when I had the bike striped down, it is a semi gloss black with no dings, dents or cracks, the bike has never been laid down. It has always been kept in the garage and not rode much, so the paint on the tank looks great, there is a small scratch on the side but I couldn't get a picture of it because of the reflection. The Tires are in good shape they only have a few hundred miles on them, but have been sitting most of the time. The rear tire has a hole in it, doesn't hold air, and is currently flat. So if you are looking for a Cafe Racer or a bike with a lot of history this is it.
