Update: Due to me breaking one of my own rules NO TEST RIDES I now am missing the V65 Sabre emblem from the Lt side cover.Fellow somehow managed to dislodge the cover while going down the road,I retrieved the cover later that nite but the emblem had been knocked off from impact I guess.Anyway,so the bike now needs a new side cover for left side.(seen em on ebay for 75.00) Also,please dont waste my time emailing offers that are lower than the starting bid!I have come down from my original asking price,and bike is worth more than I am now asking for it. For Sale 1985 Honda VF1100 S V65 Sabre V4 16 Valve OHC 120hp Bike is in excellent condition! these bikes are getting harder to find every day.They were only produced for two years 1984-1985 The base color is black with silver secondary color and red pinstripes.Brand new rear Shinto tire (not yet mounted) Front tire is like new and the exisiting rear tire is about 50% tread. No leaks.Starts first try even when cold.Runs strong with no smoke. Clutch has zero slippage,shifts through all the gears like a new bike. Basically this is a turn key bike,just jump on it and go,needs nothing! Has small ding on rt lower side of tank,and the paint needs to be buffed out and waxed.Seat is perfect as well,has factory tool kit,new battery,and recent tune up including cleaning and sync-ing carbs.Ready to ride! Own a piece of moto-history and ride a bike that can hang with any sport touring bike ever made,new or old,and can still beat most of them.
