This auction listing is for a nice, unrestored 1962 Pontiac Bonneville two-door hardtop. This car is very stock and originally equipped. The drivetrain appears to be original and unmolested. It starts right up and runs and drives nicely. The motor is a stock Pontiac 389/ 4bbl, 305 hp V-8 and the transmission is a floor shifted automatic. It has newer dual exhaust all the way to the rear. It isn't noisey. It came equipped with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning, as well as optional factory eight lug wheels. ( It has all five matching wheels.) The odometer reads 55,400 miles, but with it's age I cannot verify it's accuracy. The body isn't pristine, but it's solid and looks nice. The paint is shiny, although it does have some scratches and imperfections appropriate for a car of it's age. ( I've tried to accurately show any obvious damage in the photos, please look at them closely.) The glass is all in good condition. All the exterior trim is present and mostly in very good condition. The floors are very nice, original and solid. The trunk pan has some visible rust, but it is very minor and easily repaired. The interior is complete, original and in excellent condition. It has the original bucket seats and console and came with a factory console mounted vaccum/fuel economy guage. This car is a nearly 50 year old classic American automobile and would be excellent to use as a driver as is, or would make a superb restoration candidate.
