This engine was a no nonsense example of what cubic inches and lessons learned from racing could accomplish in a street legal form. Key components included high compression and triple two-barrel carburetors. The 400 horsepower was very impressive but even better was the 460 ft lbs of torque. It is the torque that you feel during acceleration. This 427 Corvette has had a complete body-on restoration and verification of all matching numbers. It still has the tank sticker, owner’s manual and restoration receipts. The red stripe tires and wheel trim rings are correct. The LeMans blue exterior is beautiful and shows off the carved shark like silhouette along with the silver “gill” vents on the front fenders. The black interior is fantastic as well as the new soft top. This car comes with the black vinyl hard top for cooler weather driving. This car shows 72,500 miles. The color combinations on this car are timeless.
