1939 Chrysler Royal, owned by a 115 year old woman named Mrs. Sandborn. She held the title of being the oldest woman in the world until 4 1/2 weeks ago when she passed away. I bought the car before she died, and it had been setting in her barn for 56 years. The deal was this: she remembered the car, told me where it came from - Levenwoirth, Kansas - and bought in 1941. So, I took on the responsibility of breathing life back into the old Chrysler. It had a lot of nostalgia that's too much to even talk about. But when I dug it out of the barn, the wheels didn't roll, the motor didn't turn. Nothing moved that was supposed to move. But after 168 hours, the motor ran as smooth as it did when it came off the showroom floor. Everything in it is original, from the spare tire to the jack in the trunk and tools.
