Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ADD. This is a 1973 Z28 Camaro that has been a race car a very large portion of its life and was very well taken care of. I am helping a very close friend sell it so you will deal with hjm once the car is sold.. He is one of the premier car builders in central Texas . He would like to sell this car to someone who would consider hiring him and build it as a Pro Touring car. I have included a picture of a Hemi car he is currently building for a gentleman in Fortworth . If you are interested in this option it is open. Other wise the car will sell out right . Your Bid is for the car only no work is included and the Hemi chassis is . This will have to be arranged after the sell at an additional cost. Please be advised , this is a true Z28 car but the car has been re vin,ed . At some point in its life the vin tag was stollen so the state of Texas has re vin,ed the car . The current vin is the correct and original number that matches the title. We have done all the reserch on the car and it is a true Z 28 . The title is clear and open. This car has spent a large portion of its life in a race car trailer so the body is in exceptional condition for its age . It is completely rust free. The paint is old and faded. The car is a roller with no motor are transmission. It was set up and ran a big block. It has sub frame connectors to the rear. There are no inner fenders . The interior retains the original dash but has racing buckets and a roll cage . There is no back seat. The door panels are in very good condition. All the glass is good and they work as they should. The car has a front and rear spoiler. The rear spoiler is bubbling due to a paint reaction problem some 15 years ago. It was just never repainted. The car was a ladder bar car so the floor has two small whole in the very back for the ladder bars to clear. This will be a very easy patch. The floors themselves are in excellent condition as are the rockers and quarters . It currently has a cowl on the original hood. The rearend was a Ford 9" and was retained with the motor and trans for the next build so it has just a stock Camamo rearend in it now for rolling . The front suspension is all there and functioning as it should. The great thing about this car is the body. I believe it to be one of the best starts you will fined out there . Please ask all questions before you bid. The car is for sale locally so we retain the right to kill this auction at anytime up to the point it meets reserve. If you have 10 or less feedback or excessive negatives your bid will be canceled unless you contact us first. Again this auction is for the Camaro only , the Hemi Chassis picture is to show the excellent work my buddy does. Thanks for looking and good luck with your bids.
