1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series Shortbed Pickup You are looking at a 1956 Chevy 3100 series pickup. This is one of the most desirable pickups for the restorer that Chevy ever made. Spent it's life in Georgia. This is the deluxe model. Chrome bumpers, chrome grille, and deluxe stainless cab trim. It has been re-powered with a 327 Chevy V8 with a turbo transmission. Trans has been converted over to a later model to resemble a standard floor shift. It has headers, alternator, electronic ignition. Chrome headers, dual exhaust, Reese trailer receiver. If you look at the pictures, you'll notice this truck has no rust holes. It is equipped with Rally wheels with trim rings and center caps. Chrome plated running boards. The wood in the bed is in good shape but could use refinishing. This truck has been parked in a garage and not on the road for 4 or 5 years. There is some surface rust where the paint has been chipped, but no the body mounts, floor pans, fenders, bedsides, and tailgate are in excellent shape (no patching at all). Excellent metal to start with. Never been exposed to inclement weather. With a new paint job and some tlc, this could be a truck anyone'd be proud to drive around.
