This was her, occasional daily driver. Painted in Lacquer paint 15+ years ago, paint still looks good and has a nice shine. The speedometer shows ~40k miles and is believed to be original but cannot be confirmed. Nash claimed that the Metro got 41mpg. Has the original partial interior, the seats, front and back, are original. Front seat is in good condition, rear seat is good but top of the rear back panel has unraveled and torn from the sun. No carpet and has one partial original door panel. Headliner is original and needs replacing. There is absolutely no rust on the body or frame. This Met has the original floor and trunk pans. Body is very straight with a very minor dent on the passenger side door lower part, and creases on both front lower fenders just ahead of the front wheels, these miner dents/creases have been straightened, however the paint has chipped off in the process-please see pictures. Also the hood has some very small dents. There is a ding here and there. This Met was an original Red and White car, but now painted a bubblegum pink-- it's very pretty and gets lots of looks, attention and "thumbs up". The engine runs good and the 3 speed manual transmission works great. Starts every time! The brakes are good, as is the parking brake. The tires are newer with low miles and the spare is as new appears to match from what we can see, with the chrome ring around the tire, which is in very nice condition. All the stainless side trim is very good if not near perfect. The grill and bumpers are original and with no dents. All would be easily re-chromed as the west coast air has scaled the chrome. All lights, wipers and even the original radio still works. All glass is in great condition. Metropolitan Pit Stop, in Hollywood California, has all the needed interior parts at a very low price. I also have an extra engine (picture is shown with the head off), out of one of the other Mets owned by the previous owner, and have some boxes of extra parts that came with the car when I bought it a little less than a year ago- everything from extra speedos, parking light bezels, hubcaps, boxes of gaskets, 2 extra radiators and a bunch more misc. parts--please consider this as a bonus to buying the car and please don't ask me to itemize the list. I will not sell any parts or the extra engine separate from the car--it all goes as one package. You can sell off the parts you don't want. I have removed the Reserve, so that this car WILL SELL.
