You are bidding on a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. This is the same year trans-am as featured in the movie Smokey & the Bandit. Car starts, runs good, and drives. Has a 400 Pontiac V8 motor with a new Holley Street Avenger Carburetor with electric choke. Black exterior paint with black/gold firebird decals/ Georgia State Flag front license plate. Odometer reads 03400, assuming it is not original mileage. Needs exhaust work, heater core, new headliner. Shaker hood scoop is cracked/needs a gasket. A new battery was installed last year, along with a new timing chain, spark plugs, wires (2 years ago). Exterior paint has some small chips/dents, some rust starting to show at bottom of rocker panels/underside. Includes AM/FM cassette, although not hooked up. I am not the original owner of this car, bought it 2008 from a car dealership in Minnesota. This is a sweet ride and with a little work could be a real show. This car makes a statement wherever it goes with its flashy paint job and roaring engine. You're sure to get compliments on this American Classic Muscle Car.
