Vehicle Detail
Reason I am selling: I am building another T bucket from scratch and need the money to fund my other build. The reserve I have set on this car is very reasonable. I am in the middle of building another T Bucket and I can honestly say you could never build this car today for the set reserve that I have. Description of T Bucket: First off, I did not build this car and bought from another person. This is an older build that sat in a shop covered up for quit a few years. The car still is a very nice looking car but I would consider a driver and not a show car. The Car is titled in Montana as a 1923 Ford. The body is fiberglass with a nice candy apple paint job (not perfect). The previous owner told me that it has a 1920's boxed in frame. The radiator is also an original 1920's brass ford radiator with and original Brass Winged Boyce Ford Motometer radiator cap. The rearend is not posi and is a 1956 chevy narrowed rearend with drum brakes, the housing was cut out at one time and boxed to accommodate lower taller gears. The gears right now are very high (2.0:1 ratio). The steering wheel is an original Brass spoked wooden model T wheel and very nice. The car has a GM TH350 transmission. The engine is a 1962 chevy 283 cubic inch V8 with camel hump heads, chrome high rise and 2, 625 CFM Carter Carburators. The engine is over carbed but it looks COOL! I think you could disconnect one carb if you feel it is over carbed? I couldn't tell you when the engine was rebuilt but other than running a little rich, it runs good. It has a 9 gallon spun aluminum tank and a new battery. It also has brand new white wall cheater slicks (Expensive Tires). This ride is pretty basic with no comforts but loads of fun to drive! Now for the cons: Because the car sat for quit awhile is has the usual dry seals with minimal drips when sitting. The car does not have front brakes but does have mounting holes for brakes and should be easy to install. I thought about buying a chrome front end with discs. There are no signal lights and I use hand signals when driving but that is easy to install. The interior is older and not premium but they do make new kits for these bodies. I do have the car advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. The buyer is responsible for shipping. I can try and help locally as much as possible by delivering to dispatcher but you have to handle the details. I would like $500 nonrefundable deposited to me through Paypal with 48 hours of Auction end and the balance could be sent to me by a bank (Cashiers) check or when you pick up vehicle. You are welcome to use paypal for the total but you will have to pay my fee they charge me on anything after $500. If you have any questions you can either email me or call my cell at 406-670-9688. Leave message & number if I don't answer and I will call you back. Thank You and Good LuckOn May-19-11 at 16:00:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I would like buyers with feedback scores less than 5 and 100% to contact me with their name and phone number so I can verify that you actually exist. Sorry if I offend any new Ebay bidders but now a days with all the scammers you can't be too careful. On May-23-11 at 12:46:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I made a video and put it on photobucket.com.
