Offering up for auction a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit LS 1.7L 4 cyl. Auto transmission A/C Deluxe blue interior Only 49.5K miles All original & overall great condition This car belongs to my brother who is the current holder of clear title. He purchased it from an estate sale in NY about eight years ago and drove it out to Colorado where he used to live (reason for the Colorado tags). It was driven back to the east coast 3 years ago and now currently resides in Danbury, CT. He now lives in Florida and no longer wants the car so I have the task of selling it for him. Interior in mint condition; exterior in good condition however some dents on the roof and body dings are present; invested $2K within the last 3 years (new exhaust, tires, fuel pump, starter motor, brakes, timing belt, gas tank); recently spent an additional $300 for a new headliner; vehicle has been garaged for the majority of its life; superficial rust in a couple of small areas; A/C engages but needs a charge; front windshield is cracked and needs replacement; small exhaust gasket leak; blower motor growls but a replacement is included, otherwise car runs very well & shifts smoothly. The car was never wrecked and as stated before all body panels and paint are original. This car turned heads everywhere it went and somone always struck up a conversation about owning one back in the day. Car comes with original VW mats, owners manual, documents and keys.
