1999 Dodge Heavy Duty Ram 2500 SLT Laramie 4x4 5.9L Cummins Diesel 24 Valve extended cab short bed 4x4. It has 157,960 miles. It is in very good condition with normal wear and tear. It is red with gray cloth interior. Truck looks just as great in person. 2 owners. It has the famous 5.9L Cummins 24 Valve motor! It does not have the 53 block. It has all the standard SLT Laramie features plus a spray-in bed liner, rear airbags, E-BRAKE by Jake (exhaust brake), manifold pressure gauge (side pillar) and Luverne grill guard. It also has an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator unit which is mounted close to the frame rail on drivers side for easy access (these are usually mounted near the firewall and difficult to get to). It has never been chipped, modified, or anything else. It has factory CD/cass player, 5 speed manual trans, 3.55 axle, cab steps, heated mirrors, shift on the floor 4x4, trailer tow package, overhead trip/mileage computer, two sets of keys w/ key fobs and much more. This truck runs and drives excellent. The only mechanical disclosure is if you rush the shift into third gear, it grinds. The 3rd gear synchro may be going out or in need of repair. Otherwise the manual transmission shifts perfect, the engine runs perfect, and the suspension is solid (Bilstein shocks). The wheels are in excellent condition and the Michelin LTX/AT Load Range E tires (265-75-R16) are great 90%+ tread remaining. All the power windows, door locks, etc work great. Everything in the truck works. A/C and heater work great. It had a fifth wheel hitch, which was removed by the previous owner. No smoke odor! Nonsmoker! The gray cloth interior of the truck is in great condition, always had floor mats covering the carpet. The truck leaks nothing at all! This truck fires right up in the morning! The truck has minor/light wear and tear. There is a scratch on the passenger side of the box at the rear (see picture). When you see the truck it looks like it could only be a few years old. The paint is glossy, and the body is free of dents other than normal wear and tear/dings from over the years. Certainly one of the cleanest and nicest 99 Cummins you will find! The inside of the bed is clean with a spray-in bed liner. It is one of the very last true heavy duty Dodges. It has the 5.9L 24-valve diesel, before they got all the emissions stuff the new ones have. Never in an accident! This truck needs nothing and is ready to go!
