It sounds like a Porsche, looks like a Porsche, runs like a Porsche, but best of all, it is a Porsche! With less than 78,000 original miles, this fuel-injected beauty is not only ready to turn heads wherever you go, it’s ready for the road, it’s ready to cruise around in, and it’s ready to be shown off in that antique muscle-car club you’ve always wanted to be a part of. I didn’t even know he was chasing me until I slowed down. He told me that try as he may, he not only could not catch me, I was actually pulling away from him. I’m 58, but I have a wild streak left over from my teen years. Translation: I still love fast cars. My eyesight isn’t what it was though, and I really want to see 59, even 69, so it’s best that my racing days be over. If yours aren’t, get ready for an exceptional machine that handles superbly at any speed. It’s a Porsche though; you would expect that. This awesome vehicle will outrun virtually every car you see, and yes, even that Corvette you just passed will think twice about messing with you, especially after you blow by him and he sees seven of the scariest letters known to man: P-O-R-S-C-H-E. I’ve had a lot of things done to this 928 to make sure it stays ahead of the other “lesser” cars. All this was done within the past year: The clutch was replaced, along with the battery, cam chains, plugs, gears and seals, front main seal, belts, hoses, pulleys, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, spark plugs, ignition wires, and water pump. The tires are in great shape too. There are a few minor cosmetic issues on this car, but that’s to be expected from a 1980 vehicle. Otherwise, this is an exceptional vehicle, but for my own good, I must let it go. This is a no reserve auction, so the high bidder will drive away with one fabulous racing machine.
