Vehicle Detail
I am entertaining offers at this time..... - if you like the car and want something different then shoot me an offer - this is the best looking and well done shorty being offered in a long time - no Trades I am selling my baby for over 10 years – I have a new project on the way and as usually something has to go and it’s a mixed feeling I having putting this car up for sale. I have had lot of fun with the car over the years and it get attention everywhere you go and every time you go to gas station you get – “what is that...?", "how is it to drive...?" , "did they make it like that...?" , "did you get rear ended...?" , "that's the most fun car I ever seen..?" I put an A/C system in the car, it's been hidden under the dash, and the turn knobs is put in the original heater control units, one of the out let vents I put on the passenger side where the original Clock was not to make it too cluttered. The pump is polished and the condenser is hidden on the inside of the front plates out of sight. It got power breaks and disk brakes with 2” dropped spindles up front and drums in the rear, I put a 2004R over drive transmission in the car and I guess the rear end is a 4:11 and I was always in the slow lane of the freeway but after the over drive transmission the car drives in the fast lane with all the new cars. I have a manually switch on the dash when to lock up the converter when I drive on the freeway – when I drive around town I disengage it and drive w/o it or it drops the rpm way too low and make it hard to drive so I call it the highway switch. The interior was redone a 3 years ago with Mercedes wool carpet on the floor and in the trunk and cloth on the upper part of the seats to make it comfortable when jumping into a car who been out in the sun for a while. Door panels are Rod doors and billet handles and all the interior moldings was chromed which gives the car a rich and awesome look. There is a Stereo with cassette and hidden speakers and tweeters and a amp under the front seats. The engine is a small block 400c.i. with dual quads on an Edelbrock manifold, Dart S/R heads, Melling SB Chevy Torque Cam Lift .420/.443 Duration @ .050" 204¯/214¯ Part # MTC1, Sanderson Block Headers, The paint is a 84 Ford Truck Bright Bitter Sweet. There is no cracks or bubbles where the alteration has been done on this car – it was done in the 80ies sometime and it was painted back then and has not been repainted or touched up since the major job was done – if it had been done poorly it would have shown by now but that’s not the case [I seen several shorties over the years that has cracks and wired things going on under the paint which I would personal stay away from unless you like to redo what someone else has done]. Exhaust is flow masters and it’s a nice sounds to the car, there is an electric pump for the gas and there is a new gas tank installed as well, in the rear it’s dropped with 3" spaces between the leafs and the rear axle. OVERA ALL RATING : 1 being poor – 10 being Perfect [to get a 10 I consider it to be freshly done and hardly no miles on a car – with that said very few car gets a 10] Paint = 8 [no cracks or scratches – got some chips from driving it and the paint is +20 years old] Chrome = 9 [has all been redone and shines like new – all original painted interior moldings has been chromed] Stainless = 8 [has been polished and have a good shine to it] Interior = 9 [fresh new interior, Mercedes wool carpet and new seats and headlining and door panels and trunk] Engine bay = 7 [all painted in matching outside color or chromed looks very clean and nice] Engine = 9 [runs strong and have awesome torque – if there was something I would like to keep for my next project it would be the engine] Wheels = 9 [brand new Cragar wheels – looks and shines like new] Tires = 8 [lots for tread and life left] Glass = 8 [all stock glass and no cracks etc] That’s all folks – hope this car get a new good home – call me at 408-387.4611 or Email with any questions – shipping would be from zip 95124 in San Jose CA My last 3 cars I sold on Ebay has all gone out of country [Germany, Holland, Denmark] so if that’s the case for this one I am willing to help and connect you with shipping and overseas freight companies.
