A 1968 GS 400 Convertible that has recieved a full restoration and completed in 2010. This vehicle is without fail, one of the nicest GS 400 convertibles in the country. Few cars have been given the level of restoration that this vehicle received. There are 2 books of reciepts and documentation to back up the claim. Even the original window sticker and build sheets are included. The body is laser straight and has no rust. The paint is near flawless, and all trim has been polished. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The engine is butter smooth, until you press down on the gas pedal, then you can feel the 340 HP move the car down the road. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly and smoothly. The car rides on chrome rallye wheels with redline tires, including the spare. The optional sport suspension package allows the car to handle like a dream. The upholstery and top are as nice as you will ever see, the fit on the top is just wonderful and the best I have seen on a convertible ever. The vehicle was invited to attend the prestigious Kansas City Art of the Car Concours D'Elegance last spring, one of one two late model cars invited to attend this show. Then later that summer the car was shown and judged at the Buick Club of Americas Nationals in Ames IA. The GS 400 was awarded Gold Senior, the highest award from Buick. Gold Senior cars must have scored higher than 390/400 points to achieve this status. I invite anyone intersted in owning one of the nicest 68 GS's to come and personally inspect the car.
