I am relisting this item due to a bidder that won the auction then said he couldn't find a ride to come pick it up! PLEASE, if you plan on bidding, make sure you can carry the deal through! His loss is your chance to grab this AWESOME STEAL on a solid Porcshe 928S. For sale is a 1984 Porsche 928S which I acquired at a moving sale. Car has clean Massachusetts title in hand. It was owned by a mechanic so it runs extremely strong! Mechanically this car is solid! CarFax shows NO accidents! Car has no body damage. No dents. Body is nice and straight. I bought it as a summer father/son project but now do not have the time due to I am starting a new job soon which requires a lot of travel.. I am told it has expensive 18" wheels and tires called Antera. 285/30 18 on rear, 235/45 18 on front. All 4 original wheels with tires also come with the car. It also has a "GTS" rear spoiler which I was told is rare to find in the aftermarket. I drove this car home and it pulls really strong ( I had it up to 110mph with ease) a BLAST to drive!!. I would have no problem with someone flying in to Boston and driving it home. Radio and speakers work great as well as electrical switches for windows and seats. The car was re-painted and is faded and chipping in some areas. Mainly on the front and rear plastic bumpers as well as the plastic side moldings. A guy at the autoparts store said these areas need "flexible paint" which might not have been used. So it will need some paint and interior work (depending how picky you are.) I was given a new set of rear shocks which are still brand new in the box. Brand is SACHS made in Germany.The A/C condenser was taken out so it has no A/C. It shifts smooth and the brakes are excellent (told the rears were just done.) If you are looking for a mechanically solid driver to fix up than this is your car. If you can paint cars well, this is a steal for you! I was also told it was owned by a 20th Century FOX executive when it was new (as seen by the FOX parking sticker still on it from 1984-85.) The odometer says 64K miles but the title and Carfax says168K, so the odometer must be incorrect. It drives and performs extremely well.
