Vehicle Detail
1966 Mustang Convertible - Classic California Fun Convertible About everything on this car has been rebuilt, replaced, or repaired. It started with the purchase of a solid Mustang convertible in Seattle, WA. I drove it approximately 1,000 miles from Seattle to Los Angeles with no problems. It use very little oil in the thousand mile trip. The engine has been rebuilt before I bought it and confirmed with my mechanic. Next was a fully stripped down professional paint job. It is classic deep candy apple red. All the rubber gaskets, window brushes, and front windshield was replaced. Next was a full pony parchment interior; seats, carpet, floor mats, door panels, kick plate speakers, after market console (have to have some place to put your cherry coke). The entire interior was repainted. New wood grain steering wheel. New Customer Autosounds AM/FM radio with cassette. New upgraded speakers. All the body emblems were replaced. New classic GT chrome wheels with wide stance, high performance tires with wheel locks. New battery, fuel pump, muffler, electronic ignition and coil. New chrome bumpers front and back. The odometer was replaced and rebuilt. ( I have no idea how many miles this car has on it. It hasn't been driven more than 100 mile per year in the last 7 years.) The car has a new Hurst Shifter, a 3 speed shifter. Always wanted a Hurst shifter when I was in high school. This car has one! The convertible has a new boot for the top. The top has not been replaced and is not in good condition. The top has never been up in the 8 years I have owned it. After the paint job it was stored in the garage, most of the time under a car cover. The only thing that has not been repaired in the oil dipstick whch needs to be replaced. The car is fun to drive. It is a real head turner. Lots of comments at most stop lights. I am only selling it because I hardly ever drive it anymore. The car is being sold as is with no warranty offered or implied.
