Rare find for its condition 1972 Mercedes Benz 280SEL with all original factory equipment in beautiful condition comes with all of the original MB books collection. The paint is in nice shape and all accessories are as they were delivered from the manufacturer. Usually these cars have common rust spots on welds by the wheels and around bottom jack stand holes – But Not This one which is rare. Every accessory works the car performs and drives like new on and off the highway. This is one of the best kept cars of this class you will find. The exterior is the original 280H hunter green, the interior is in like new condition and includes the original MB Tex Leatherette, carpeting and wood trim no scratches, stains or rips anywhere. All of the accessories including the Original Becker radio (sounds great) work. The cars engine and transmission are very smooth zero leaks anywhere it is a true pleasure to drive and i have to write i have never gotten so many comments in regards to a car as i do with this one. This is one of the last cars that was entirely hand made in Stuttgart and the craftsmanship shows in every detail. All trim pieces and chrome are in beautiful shape as well. The car needs nothing to enjoy its appearance and driving experience. Now the imperfections for the purpose of fairness: There are some paint chips from road stones over the years but only few, The tool pouch in the trunk does not contain all the tools, The wood is in great condition on every panel except top by the windshield top front the piece has some varnish that shows some aging.
