The previous winner, was in the act of writing to me when he heard that his son was in a motorcycle accident. Later that evening he wrote to say that his son had died, and that he didn't want to continue with the purchase, which I well understood. I know the anguish of losing a child. Anyway, here she is again: I have owned this truck for over seven years. It has always been a southern truck. For the last two years it has been in a local bodyshop where the bodywork was completely restored/resprayed at a cost in excess of $2000.00. The truck remains unfinished, but all the expensive work is done. What remains is rewiring, reupholstery and the steering gear adjusted. There is no rust on this truck, nor any bondo apart from smoothing amounts.. It has the following upgrades/parts: New Windshield and seal New Door seals New vent window seals New window felts and channels New Back glass seal All new brake pipes New brake shoes All new brake valves New Steering wheel New Carburetor New Radiator New Kingpins New Center link Master cylinder rebuilt Fuel pump rebuilt Gas tank removed and cleaned New gas filler rubber New Front Lenses New Back Lenses New Tailgate modified to not use chains. New 'Die Hard' Battery I don't have the receipts for all this stuff as I bought them over the years, but you can see they are new. I can't remember if the gas tank is new or merely cleaned and painted. It hasn't been used since either way. It is beautifully resprayed in Mercedes Silver and White both inside and out. No ripples, dents or bumps. Entire bodywork is straight and perfect. The original Aqua paint can be seen inside all fenders! Explorer Alloy wheels. Boxes of parts come with the truck - nothing is missing. There is a period radio and a heater not fitted. The wiring was removed and I paid for it to be renewed/replaced. This was never done, that, plus my illness (quad bypass), is why it is for sale today. A Bill of sale only will be supplied to the lucky winner. Truck is a six cylinder plus three-on-a-tree transmission both of which are in good shape. This truck will only increase in value! Thanks for looking and happy bidding...
