Vehicle Detail
1965 Ford Falcon Futura Hard Top This car was a 6 cylinder 3 speed that was changed over to a V8 automatic. It still has the clutch pedal on the floor if you want to switch it to a 4 speed. This is a very solid driver car and is very cool with Mustang Bucket Seats and side exhaust. It is a real blast to drive and grabs a lot of attention. The stainless trim is in excellent condition the only piece that is messed up is on the front of the drivers door. It is hard to find a car with trim this nice. This car has many new items including: Engine: The engine was JUST REBUILT back to stock 289 spec's. Nothing fancy. But it cost me a couple thousand to have it done. It has a holley 4 barrel carb and a Petronix Ignition. It retains the stock exhaust manifolds and we put thrush mufflers with side exhaust on the car. It car runs and sounds Great!!! The engine starts every time. The transmission is a used Ford trans that has a reverse / manual valve body...You have to shift it. I removed the pan and installed a new filter. The fluid looks great and no metal at all in the pan. New Gas Tank and Fuel Lines. New Dual Bowl Master Cylinder for safety. New Brake Lines / Hoses. We put Mustang Front Spindles and an 8" Rear with Drum Brakes on the Car. It has the 1965-66 Shelby Mustang Quick Steering Set Up for the Pitman Arm. All the front Brakes parts are New. 14" Mustang Wheels with Trim Rings and Caps New Tires New Battery Mustang Front Bucket Seats Recoverd Drivers Seat - Passanger Seat and Rear Bench are in Great / Perfect Shape New Custom Door Panels Rust Repair: The rear frame rail extensions were replaced and new spring shackles installed. The entire trunk area was rusted out so we welded in all new metal and it looks great. The drivers side rear lower quarter panel was replaced. There are several floor patches but now the car is very solid. The frame rails are all very solid. The cowl is solid and the car does not leak water. The heater is not hooked up. I do not know if the heater core leaks or not. I was going to switch the car to a manual trans so I gathered most of the parts and will offer for purchase the following to the winner of the auction: (Not included in this auction) I used have a T-5 5 speed transmission / z bar and most of the clutch linkage that I will sell for $400. I also have 4 speed toploader trans that I will sell for $600 obo. (Not included in auction)
