Vehicle Detail
This 1973 Ford Gran Torino is for sale by a private seller. This car has more than enough potential because it has a great foundation to begin with! For the restorer or street rod enthusiast, this car will be a lot of fun! It is rare enough and plenty desirable! This car runs great and I haven't had any problems from it. This car has: Engine is a 351 "Cleveland" Motor 2bbl C4 Automatic Transmission Blue Mettalic Paint. Paint is standard paint; not custom and not high quality. All electrical is functioning except for gas gauge. Air conditioner has been removed, but heater works. From all angles, this car is relatively straight. Headlight Bezels is in good condtion. Grille is in good condition. No cracks or breaks. (see photos) Bumpers are in good condition. Undercarriage appears to be in good condition (based on casual visual inspection from the ground level view.) And also has an undercoating spray. Exterior trim is average to above average. Sport Mirrors Windows roll up and down. All glass fits nicely. Headliner complete, but no longer a "snug" fit. New upholstery (headliner, seats, carpet). Interior Rear panels in good condition. Trunk area is in very good condition. Original GT 500 wheels are in great condition. Tires are in great shape. Dashboard complete and in fair to good condition with no cracks. Odometer has 71,514 mileage. Evidence of previous rust around rear trunk seal. Aftermarket CD player replaces factory radio. Has original steering wheel. Some interior parts (door covers, panels and dash) were painted with interior paint. All exterior trim is on vehicle and in good shape. Overall: This classic car is in good shape even with its age. Some parts have been replaced (window seals, interior and exterior seals). Motor is in good mechanical condition and runs great! Transmission shifts good. This is my first vehicle I've tried to sell on Ebay. While I have tried my best to convey everything that this car has and doesn't have, looks good or could look better I am sure I have forgotten something. Having said that, please contact me if you have any additional questions and I will get back to you within 24 hours, but probably sooner. I am a VERY motivated seller. https://picasaweb.google.com/hollybjenkins/1973GranTorino?authkey=Gv1sRgCKmzz4qoq9XcrgE&feat=email# On Apr-25-11 at 18:52:34 PDT, seller added the following information: This 1973 Ford Gran Torino is for sale by a private seller.
