There is for a reason for that... F-150 is the best truck you can buy. It is a proven fact, 29 million sold in last 50 years. It has been a best seller for 23 years straight. As an auto dealer we get all different makes of vehicles. I am not biased to Ford, but good is good. Main Features Just by looking at the truck, you can see it is different and looks like a much newer model, even the inside has accessories installed that many newer models don’t. It has an advanced sound / DVD / CD system with so many options. I'll try to explain it as best I can. It has an Alpine motorized CD player, a DVD player, a Sony overhead monitor, specially made sub woofers, pioneer amplifier, FM module, two wireless headphones and 3 remotes. They are all expensive high end electronics. You can use the DVD system any way you want. You can use the vehicle sound system, the wireless headphones or blast the glass via the subs. You can also run two systems simultaneously such as listen to the radio using the vehicle speakers and someone else can watch a movie using the headphones. Sony TFT monitor has a swivel function that can turn it to either side. This vehicle has upgraded, chrome, Halo eye projector headlights which give the truck a newer and overall attractive look. I found that the longest lasting is this one with the 4.6L Triton V8 with Auto transmission. Most Fords go over 250K mark (5.4l Triton is a very good truck too, but for some reason this is longer lasting. It is one tough engine and tranny.) This truck has 169k, which is not that much for a Ford truck (I would buy a well maintained180k vehicle rather than an abused 80k vehicle any day). History of the vehicle This vehicle was originally a Texas truck, so no MN rust on it. This vehicle has been well maintained by a couple who had their father living with them. They decided to get him something smaller to drive around town so they no longer needed this. It has been well cared for and maintenance has been kept up on it. They put a lot of money to upgrade the vehicle with additional features as you can see in the photos. Vehicle description We had a fresh oil change and after driving 1000 miles, still the oil is in very good condition, no burning. That is an indication of the condition of the engine. When it comes to trucks, tires are important because they usually cost around $700 to change this size. All the tires on this truck are in good condition including the spare. The brakes are good. Good truck, drive with pride. When you check the book value, a tow package adds some value to the vehicle, but I think a tow package should decrease the value because a vehicle without the tow package hasn’t been used for excessive towing, mostly used as a commuter. That means they will last longer. This vehicle doesn’t have a tow hitch installed. By the way it is running I assume it hasn’t been used for heavy towing. Very good interior, it is clean and nice. There are no damages, scratch marks or rips. There is one small burn spot in the driver’s seat. I have found that the arm rests for both the drive and front passenger are very conveinent for long distance driving comfort. They do not come in most models. The truck has a good quality, well built fiberglass Lear topper. You can simply remove it whenever you have to put large stuff in the bed. Otherwise keep everything inside safe with the topper. The bed is also lined with a rubber lining which helps protect it from scratches. We did the computer scan and found no error codes, but an exhaust code came once (EGR) nothing major at all. If it comes again it can fix for $50. It is not there anymore and has not come for the last 500 miles but I would like to mention it. Please be fair about your expectations as it is a 2000 vehicle, not new. If you are concerned about every single small thing please come and take a look and take to a mechanic before you bid. One time I got up at 1am to accommodate a shipper coming to pick up a vehicle for a buyer in order to get a better rate for a customer. I also know some shippers who go around the MN, WI, ND, SD, IL, IN, IA area every week so can usually get a good rate for those states. But ultimately the shipping is the buyer's resposibility. If paid in full, we can store it inside for a while until shipping/pick up is arranged. We have an account with uShip which is associated with eBay. We can get multiple shipping quotes for the winning bidder. You can also check online shipping companies to get a good deal on shipping. Vehicle shipping is not very cheap.
