I am a collector however, I do not know all the terminology in this sport because I am an old fashion muscle car guy but this car really caught my interest.. I got this car because a family friend had built this car and they had run into money problems and I assisted them and I received this car.. I have much more in the car than it is worth but, I admire the builder and was happy to help them out.. That being said, all I ask is please be patient with me on any questions.. Since I have talked about this car with anyone who see's it I have written down every possible product or enhancement done that I am aware of. Additionally, there have been a couple of excellent people out there in eBay land that have been very kind and helped me better with my description. This Nissan SX has been built for the true enthusiasts. MANY UPGRADES and Improvements ! 1993 NISSAN 240 SX - SR 20 DET MOTOR WITH TURBOCHARGER --- 5 speed transmission - It has been said this motor is very collectable and a great performance machine.. ''BAD TO THE BONE'' ... I am amazed with the dynamics and the technology available in this car that makes old muscle car guys like me completely out of my league.. I am in absolute amazement with the thought and end result in these cars and have learned to see the craftsmanship, potential and skill in this type of performance car. I bought this car because of friend was in need and had to part with his pride and joy and in trade he gave me this car that meant the world to him. After trying to learn more about these cars and this SR 20 motor with a Turbo I was guided to You Tube.. WOW !!! I was glued to the computer for days learning of all these conversions and finding that this combination truly is an INCREDIBLE COMBINATION !! Next time I am in a muscle car and an import pulls up next to me I will now kindly tilt my hat with respect since I have recently learned the real performance may be purring next to me instead of under my rumbling hood... I was very impressed with the detail he provided me on this car and knowing what this car really represents and it's capabilities i easily decided to make the car this car ready for ''SHOW AND GO'' and added an awesome custom paint job, remove the stock interior and added a front end body kit. The builder had the hopes he would be able to paint and customize the car and out of respect for him and what this car really deserves I have done many of the improvements he wished to do. The car is in the process of getting a custom interior in it and after a similar car experience, I decided the next owner of this car should be able to determine what the inside should look like.. I tried to design an interior and asked 3 people for their advice and I got 8 opinions.. In other words, I feel the next owner should make this to their personal specifications.. There is so much potential and with today's electronic stereo's, TV monitors, amplifiers, gauges, lighting and so on, I feel I am going to sell the car with the base interior while I have prepared the car for a few easy steps to complete the next interior.. The seats are still in and dash and all essentials have not been removed but, the SX can still be driven with the basic interior however it needs to be completed to finish the dress up with this excellent performance and show car. A must see ! This car will be sold for what I have in it so someone will be in receipt of an amazing performance / show car for a great price... I was in amazement when I was told how much money $$ was invested in this car, not including the labor and time spent ''tweaking'' the SX perfecting the drive train and electronics to monitor and make it all work.. AMAZING.. All of these are what I could remember so please forgive me for any mis spelling or items I may have forgot to include since the list is extremely lengthy.. I'm sure I missed numerous items. All I know is the individual who built this car is one of the best. He had some family needs and very unselfishly sold his car to assist.. I completed some of the items he wished for the car but this car is very special and I feel the next owner should pick the interior.. I have the interior shop ready to complete it but, I have found these cars are so individualized it would be best for the last few steps to the next proud owners..
